After you click

    Drag it to Applications

    The download is a signed, notarized disk image, checked by Apple. Open it, drag TideGlass across, eject.

  2. 02

    macOS will ask to share your audio

    It has to hear what is playing to move the world. The sound is analysed live on your Mac and never recorded, stored or uploaded. That is why the app asks, and it is the only thing it asks for.

  3. 03

    Pick a world and forget it

    Push the window to your second display and leave it running. There is nothing to configure, and nothing that needs you again.

Before you ask

Is it a trial?
No. Ten worlds stay yours for as long as you use the app. Nothing counts down and nothing switches off.
Do I need an account?
No account, no email, no card. Download it and open it.
Why is it not on the App Store?
On purpose. Selling direct means Apple takes no cut, and that is what pays for the 20% we give away. It is signed and notarized either way, so it installs like any other Mac app.
Will it slow my Mac down?
It runs on the GPU rather than the CPU your work is using, and it holds a steady frame rate instead of chasing the highest one it can reach.
What if I do not like it?
Drag it to the bin. Nothing is left behind and there is nothing to cancel.
